Senior Maths Challenge

On Tuesday 13th November 2018, Mr Daniels accompanied a team of 4 of the best Mathematics students to the South East Regional Final of the Senior Team Mathematics Challenge. The team consisting of Mark Robinson, Aditi Agarwal, Harris Warburton and William Anderson worked together to solve a range of challenging Mathematical problems over three rounds. Competing against the best talent from other Grammar Schools in the region, SJWMS finished in second place, losing by just one point to the Judd School. This represents a superb achievement for the school, the best in the recent history of the competition for us. Well done to the 4 students in the team who represented the school with credit and await to see if we reach the National Final as one of the best runners-up in the competition.
